This Girl Can, BT Sports awards, WFLWORLD RUN! WALES.
It's been a crazy few days since returning from Italy on Wednesday, just in time for the Sports Industry awards dinner, I had a blast there and it was nice to head down to the event with the Red Bull UK family and take a stroll at my first red carpet event. Jenny Jones + fellow Sochi Winter Olympian Lizzy Yarnold where on site too! Thought I would share a few pics!
On Friday night and Saturday morning I posted up at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead for This Girl Can campaign sessions! There was an epic turn out of ladies on site, thanks so much to everyone who made it down and made it such a fun morning. Make sure you check out the hi-lights video here from the girls going at it, hope it inspires you to want to head down to your local fridge or dry slope and get involved.
below about my thoughts on Fronting THISGIRLCAN.

From the Snow Centre straight to Silverstone, we had the Wings for Life World Run, I can honestly say that was the coolest concept for a run, basically it’s a charity run, and all proceeds including the entry go to Spinal Cord research. The finish line is a car that chases you and it sets off at the same time in a ton of locations all over the World, when the car overtakes you, the race is done! I unfortunately couldn’t run, due to an old running injury, I still signed up and went down to cheer on the troops and helped with the warm up for the whole run! I sat in the back of an open top truck with Adam Gendle and Tim Warwood, whilst we followed the chaser car with Mr David Coulthard setting the pace. Aussie / Red Bull racing legend Mark Webber was on site too and running, as a big F1 fan was cool to meet him :)
At the start line with the Athertons, George North, Johnny Walker, The Cone Head and Korahn Gayle

After the World Run, I headed up to Wales for the Red Bull UK Womens brainstorming sessions, it was super cool to hang out with the girls, Rach Atherton, Shanaze Reade, Katie Summerhayes, Shauna Coxsey, we spent the day researching and chatting about new ideas and projects for 2016 as well as going rock climbing, which was cool to see Shauna Coxsey in her element! Crazy how strong she is!
The season is now a wrap for me after a crazy 3 weeks on the road, it's great to be home for a short while and focusing on my fitness. Time to get stronger, get the BBQ on the go, however off course in true British Summer fashion, it rained the minute we lit the BBQ! That didn't put us off! Corries chicken on the grill, tropical edition at hand! It's all go! Stay tuned for more updates on my summer missions!
