I really didn’t want to have to write some kind of blurb about myself for my Bio, so the main man behind The Snowboard Asylum did the honor, thanks Jeremy Sladen!

In a surprisingly short amount of time Aimee Fuller has gone from one of the UK’s most promising snowboarders to becoming a serious force to be reckoned with on the Global Stage.

Growing up in the South of England, where an early passion for motorcross helped her develop a fearless approach to jumps and an ability to compete against boys twice her size. “ We’d go to these meets and it would be me, blonde pony tail out the back of my helmet, and 30 other guys lining up at the start!” she recalled in a recent interview.

As one of leading lights in the new generation of female riders who are taking women’s competition snowboarding to new levels, she is now one of the most recognised faces on the world snowboard scene. The past few seasons have seen Aimee gain some truly stunning competition results across the globe with back-to-back wins in the TTR Pleasure Jam, 2nd in the Leysin champs and a 3rd place at the Roxy Pro, but without doubt the highlight of her career so far was competing for Great Britain in the Women’s Slopestyle event at the Sochi Winter Olympics. In addition to competing Aimee also joined the BBC’s commentary team for both snowboard and ski events at the Games. As one of the most outgoing and genuine riders on the scene Aimee Fuller looks set to continue her rise to the very top of women’s snowboarding.
